Ince Church of England Primary School ‘Inspire, Nurture, Challenge, Enrich’

Historical Pupil Premium Information

In April 2011 the Government introduced The Pupil Premium Grant and schools receive this allocation in addition to their School Budget.

The Grant is allocated to maintained schools via their Local Authority, to help ensure pupils reach their full potential both academically and socially.

In April 2011 the amount of funding schools received was dependent upon the number of pupils on roll that were currently eligible for Free School Meals (FSM).  In April 2012, this funding was extended to all pupils who had been eligible for FSM over the last 6 years.

Children in care also receive pupil premium, if they have been looked after for more than 6 months.

Schools receive an additional £900 pupil premium funding for each child eligible for free school meals (eligibility is dependent on the level of family income). If you are unsure if your child is eligible, please contact the school office (in confidence) to discuss the matter further.

As part of their new topic, Muck Mess and Mixtures, Year 2 children can come to school on Friday 20th April wearing clothes that you are happy for them to get messy in!
